- CyberMark
At CyberMark, we believe your ad accounts should always belong to your brand—not an agency. As part of that commitment, we’ve updated our policies around payment method management on platforms like Google and Meta. To keep your franchisee’s financial info secure and fully PCI-compliant, we’ll no longer add or update credit cards or bank details on your behalf.
What that means for you:
- Franchisees will need access to their ad account to manage the payment method
- If CyberMark is an approved admin in your brand’s Business Manager, our team will assist in adding franchisees and maintaining proper access for the duration of services with us.
- If CyberMark is not an approved admin in your brand’s Business Manager, you will need to assist franchisees in getting ad account access and updating their payment information in order to run ads.
This guide will help you:
- Add a franchisee as an employee in your corporate Meta Business Manager.
- Temporarily grant them Admin access to the ad account so they can update the payment method.
- Change their access to Read-only once the update is done.
- Add CyberMark as a partner to manage your advertising.
✅ Step 1: Log in to Meta Business Manager
- Go to business.facebook.com.
- Log in using your corporate Facebook login that manages the franchise’s business assets.
✅ Step 2: Add a Franchisee as an Employee
- In the left-hand menu, click Business Settings.
- Under Users, select People.
- Click the Add button (blue + button).
- Enter the franchisee’s business email address.
- Choose Employee Access (not Admin).
- Click Next and assign them access to the correct Ad Account.
✅ Step 3: Grant Temporary Admin Access to the Ad Account
- Under Ad Accounts, select the franchisee’s ad account.
- Toggle their role to Admin.
- This gives them permission to add or update the payment method.
- Let the franchisee know they now have access and can log in to update the payment method.
✅ Step 4: Change Their Access to Read-Only
- Once the franchisee confirms the payment method is updated, return to Business Settings > People.
- Find the franchisee’s name and select the ad account.
- Change their access from Admin to View Performance Only (read-only).
This keeps them able to see their ad activity without making changes.
✅ Step 5: Add CyberMark as a Partner
- In Business Settings, go to Partners.
- Click Add > Give a partner access to your assets.
- Enter CyberMark’s Business Manager ID: 10153479623514564.
- Assign CyberMark access to:
- Ad Accounts (so we can run campaigns)
- Pages (if applicable)
- Pixels (if applicable)
- Save your changes.
🎯 Done!
- The franchisee now has control to manage their own payment method (as required).
- CyberMark has access to manage and optimize your ads.
- You maintain ownership and control of all accounts under your corporate Business Manager.
